Bruce Thompson

Founder + CEO

Bruce Thompson is a healthcare innovator and expert in change management, holding active CPA and CMA certifications. As CEO and Founder of companies specializing in dialysis-focused EMR software, consulting, and medical billing, he leverages 12 years of experience in public accounting and litigation support. Bruce is a recognized leader in transforming dialysis organizations, helping providers improve patient outcomes while reducing costs. His mission is to empower individuals with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) to adopt healthier lifestyles, aiming to delay or prevent the need for dialysis through cutting-edge tools and proactive engagement.

Joy Osterhaut

Acting Executive Director

Joy Osterhout, MS, is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) with over 25 years of experience as a public health and education consultant. She has partnered with federal, state, and local governments, as well as for-profit and nonprofit organizations, to advance health. Joy specializes in developing and evaluating programs and educational materials that promote behavior change through skill development and improved health literacy across all age groups.

Terrence “TJ” O’Neil, MD, FACP, FASN

Medical Director

Dr. “TJ” O’Neil, a CalTech graduate, served 30 years in the Air Force at multiple bases in as a clinician, professor, and in multiple leadership positions, always striving for better patient care, early identification of kidney disease and guiding patients to fuller understanding of how they can reduce their disease risk factors. He is married to Susan, an Air Force Nurse. They have two daughters and two grandchildren.

Jarett Teston

Sr. Director, Product Innovation

Jarett Teston has been dedicated to supporting the dialysis community for over 15 years, covering business development, project management, support/implementations and software design. Working closely with clinicians, caregivers, stakeholders, and software developers, Jarett plays a key role in advancing the design and enhancing the value of Lifeblood’s preventative care programs and related initiatives. 

Dennis Sanchez

Dennis Sanchez, a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) is a seasoned behavior change expert with over a decade of experience helping individuals create sustainable lifestyle shifts for better health. With a background in coaching, communication, and health education, he specializes in guiding people through the internal and external challenges that make change difficult. His work is rooted in evidence-based strategies and real-world application, empowering clients to take meaningful, lasting action in their health journeys.

Rachel Proctor

Marketing Coordinator

For over 20 years, Rachel Proctor has driven impactful healthcare downstream marketing communications programs. Her expertise spans both digital and traditional marketing channels, and her approach to marketing is both strategic and creative, blending innovation with strong organizational skills to produce effective campaigns. By embedding change management into marketing strategy, she fosters seamless transitions, stakeholder alignment, and sustainable growth.

Alex Khabibullin is a strategic and results-driven software architect with deep expertise across the full application lifecycle and a strong foundation in change management. He is adept at designing scalable, efficient systems while guiding teams through complex transitions and technological evolution. Alex combines technical leadership with a people-centered approach to drive adoption, innovation, and sustainable growth.

Dave Patterson

IRS Compliance

David Patterson (now retired) is a Certified Public Accountant with over 45 years of experience. He previously served as a partner in a CPA firm, providing auditing, financial statements, and tax services. He believes that each client is unique and deserves timely responses and efficient work and to him, good service means clear communication and attention to detail. A significant portion of his work has been focused on nonprofits. He currently advises Lifeblood Health Foundation on entity structure, tax structure, and accounting matters.
