WHO WE ARE

Lifeblood Health Foundation is a non-profit company that provides education to people with long-term (also known as chronic) health problems, starting with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Our goal is to help people learn how to take care of their health and make lasting lifestyle changes.

THE PROBLEM

Many people don’t know they have kidney disease because it often has no early symptoms. In the United States, about 1 in 7 adults (around 37 million people) have CKD. People from at-risk communities are affected more often. We want to make sure everyone has access to the tools and support needed to manage their health. Identifying CKD early is important because we can slow down or even stop the disease from getting worse. Education also makes it easier to treat other related health issues, like diabetes and high blood pressure.

OUR SOLUTION

We’ve created an online education program that teaches people about CKD and how to manage it. We also work with other organizations to offer personal coaching, resources and helpful tools to manage your health conditions.

Our education platform supports healthcare systems that focus on quality care and a better patient experience. By helping people understand chronic health problems, we give them the knowledge they need to take better care of themselves and help reduce out-of-pocket healthcare costs.
