37 MILLION AMERICANS HAVE KIDNEY DISEASE
Do you? If you don’t know, it’s time to ACT.
OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE: APRIL 16, 2026
The Importance of Early Detection
9 out of 10 people who have kidney disease don’t know it.
Many chronic diseases are “silent” conditions, and many individuals are not aware they even have a health issue. For example, chronic kidney disease (CKD) affects 15% of the adults in the United States (or 37 million people). Through creating awareness and educating individuals on chronic health conditions, we can empower them with the essential knowledge learners need to increase their health literacy and contribute to lowering health care costs.
